Android Jelly Bean 4.2

All the new Android devices that are coming out have the new 4.2 Jelly Bean, but what is so new about it. I will discuss some of the new features and improvements with these update:
  • (New) Triple tap screen to enter full screen magnification
  • (New) Camera allows you to use HDR (High Dynamic Range) mode which allows you to make more details in your shot by increasing your exposure range
  • (New) Photo editor now features more filters, borders, and other tools for customization
  • (New) Stopwatch now allows you to run multiple ones at once, as well as multiple timers
  • (New) Full HDMI mirroring when with notifications and multi-display support
  • (New) More fonts including Roboto Thin and Nanum Gothic
  • (New) Gesture keyboard allows you to glide over letters while it learns and predicts what you want to type
  • (New) Allows you to place widgets on your lock screen
  • Sharing files via NFC is quicker and easier
  • Browser had improved performance
  • New animation to show focus state when zooming in on camera
  • Face unlock is faster and runs smoother
  • Face unlock can now require a blink to make sure it is an actual person
  • News and Weather now give you more updates while using less power
  • Photos set as contact photos will now transfer from one device to another if synced up with google
  • If a widget is too big, then it will resize to make room on whatever screen it is placed
While these are not all the features, these are the main ones. Jelly Bean 4.2 creates a smoother and better experience for its users, while adding more customization to almost all aspects of the Android OS. Jelly Bean 4.2 is a great update for all the new smartphones to use, as it makes them quicker and smoother than ever before.
